Customer Service

Benefits Management is committed to customer service. We conduct employee meeting to provide information regarding the specifics of your health plan or to explain and/or answer questions associated with the changes that can occur to their benefits. Our office will be involved as little or as much as the employer desires.

 
COBRA

Our office can administrate your group’s COBRA using a third party administrator, as a representative of your company, or provide an on-line, real time program that can be administered from your office. The benefit of using the third party administrator is that it removes from the employer the process of sending notices, handling premium payments and terminating coverage with the insurance carrier.

 
Claims Specialist

Benefits Management also has a Claims Specialist that will work directly with your employees who have large claims. One area of real concern for many employers and their employees is the frustration associated with the medical bill that can accumulate due to a major claim. Our claims specialist will research and organize the claims into a spreadsheet that can be easily understood by the employee.

 
Daily Task

Our office staff can and does the administrative aspect of terminating an employee, adding new hires, status change due to birth, adoption or divorce, or COBRA.
We follow up with the carrier to insure the changes have been made and with the correct effective date. Our office also keeps an up to date census that makes the quoting process at renewal more efficient.

 
Carrier?s Monthly Invoices

For companies that have multi-site locations, we work closely with the office manager on a monthly basis to insure the invoice is correct and we will follow up with any discrepancies.
